Matt is a litigator representing companies and individuals across the country before trial courts, arbitrators, appellate courts, and juries in matters involving commercial construction and real estate as well as matters arising from employment and business disputes. For more than twenty years, Matt has also represented companies and individuals in commercial transactions ranging from real estate acquisition and development to negotiating sales, service, and employment contracts. Matt is a 1999 graduate of Hamline University School of Law where he served as an author and editor for the Hamline Law Review. After graduation, Matt clerked for Hennepin County, Minnesota District Court Judge Myron S. Greenberg (retired). Matt is licensed to practice law before Minnesota State Courts as well as the United States District Court, District of Minnesota, United States District Court, Central District of Illinois, United States District Court, Southern District of Texas, Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court. Matt has also been admitted to appear as trial counsel (pro hac vice) for clients in cases venued in New York, California, Texas, Colorado, Michigan, Illinois, Oklahoma, Kansas, Georgia, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. |
