Before joining Cameron Law Office, Thomas served as Associate General Counsel for a prominent Minneapolis-based real estate development and investment firm, where he advised leadership and a REIT board on business strategy, acquisitions, entity formations, financing, regulatory compliance, and risk management. He also honed his skills at respected Twin Cities law firms, representing clients in commercial real estate and lending transactions, business formations and sales, contract negotiations, and a broad range of real estate, construction, commercial, and bankruptcy litigation.
Thomas earned his Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law, where he received the CALI Award for the top grade in Contracts, was a five-time Dean’s List honoree, and held a Dean’s Scholarship. He graduated summa cum laude from Winona State University with a degree in Economics and a minor in Business Law, earning the Outstanding Student Award in his department. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the District of Minnesota and the Western and Eastern Districts of Wisconsin.
